BIOGRAPHY
"Deepening the mystery"
Deepening the Mystery is my goal with each of my pieces when investigating a subject or scene. I interrogate my chosen media to gain depth and mystery, expecting the unexpected with how the media reacts with diverse materials, and drawing the viewer into this mystery to look deeper or reflect on a past experience.
I am an Australian artist who works in mixed media on diverse support materials. I have studied at Curtin University and undertaken a residency at Metchosin International School of the Arts (MISSA) on Vancouver Island in Canada. I have had solo and group exhibitions throughout Australia and Canada.

CHARITY: WaterAID 2017 Australia - donated painting for Silent Auction raising $4400 for the cause. My painting was pitched alongside pieces from Dali, Picasso, Matisse, Miro, Chagall, and John Olsen.

I was a finalist in the Lester Prize for Portraiture in late 2023 and more recently won the David Bryce Rural Art Award in 2024.
